Digital Chain

I’m posting this from Hong Kong! We are on our way to Los Angeles, California. I am with my children - Pajo and Thea. We de-planed around 8:00 am today and we will be transferring to another plane later on this afternoon. I’m using a public terminal and there’s a dude behind me- probably waiting for his turn. Anyway, will post some photos I took from my camera phone and stories about the adventure.

Listening to your elders

I took this photo along Session Road corner Mabini Street two days ago. Lola was kinda directing the traffic along Session using an old bull-horn. I can’t quite make out what she was telling the motorists. For a while there the traffic did clear out a bit - but only for a short while.

Shot this camfone photo at the National Book Store yesterday. It was placed just off-right of the cashier when you enter the bookstore. The election has yet again proven itself as a lucartive business. A couple of days ago I also saw an ad in the paper calling on would-be candidates to attend a seminar on how to effectively craft a campaign platform. A few days also there was a news clip where small-time printers were asking the COMELEC not to ban the production of novelty items used in campaigning such as t-shirts, caps, pens and other promo items. According to the printers this is the only time they can make a profit.

Now back to the book - I was just wondering - if it will teach the candidates the noble way of winning - HONESTY. But I will not know the contents of the book because I will not buy it. If someone does buy it tell me…it might make interesting conversation.
